About
Career
Roles, milestones, and the focus areas that shaped this work.
Overview
The through-line is cross-domain integration — bringing technology and business together so each informs the other. The arc moved from academic foundations through engineering at TCS, into business operations at IDBI Bank, then product leadership at Nucleus and hands-on architecture at Lentra — fourteen years implementing that integration inside BFSI, one of the toughest industries to get right.
The pattern has been consistent: understand the business deeply, build the technology hands-on, and deliver where regulation, judgment, and scale leave no room for shortcuts.
Today that continues as Founder & CEO of Apistemology Technologies — enterprise intelligence through specialized business kernels.
Career Timeline
Latest first — the arc from founding back to where it started.
Founder & CEO
Jul 2025 – Present
Current
Founded Apistemology Technologies to build enterprise intelligence through specialized business kernels — purpose-built products like ComeBk (marketing and sales), Catoids, and FinCheckers® that help businesses make better decisions by adapting technology to how they work.
Senior Product Manager
Sep 2023 – Jun 2025
Integrated the Jan Samarth portal with a micro-system loan origination stack for five government schemes — then productized it and shaped the go-to-market. Contributed as microsystem owner to a low-code architecture for gold loans, KCC, home loans, and LAP on a platform that reached ₹100 crore in disbursements within three months. Built Dedupe, Collateral, and APF microsystems from zero to production across 10+ journeys nationwide.
Product Manager
Jun 2017 – Sep 2023
Took Nucleus lending products into Australia and the Middle East while shipping seven new products — five for business users, two customer-facing — across the full lifecycle from sourcing to servicing. Products reached India's leading banks and NBFCs — ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Bandhan Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Poonawalla Fincorp — plus banks across the Gulf and Southeast Asia. Built and mentored the product team behind bi-annual release cycles that kept a portfolio of 10 live products evolving in market.
Product Manager (Scale II)
2011 – Jun 2017
Rolled out a loan origination system to 200+ branches — retail, mortgage, personal, and vehicle loans. Earlier, ran credit, operations, and collections for gold, agri, mortgage, and MSME portfolios at one of the bank's largest credit centres. Where business operations and technology integration were learned on the floor — still the foundation for how I build products today.
Systems Engineer
2009 – 2010
Joined through campus placement in the fifth semester of engineering. Worked on Citi Cards and Wolters Kluwer Financials — first exposure to enterprise delivery at scale.
Focus Areas
Latest first — each chapter builds on the one before it.
Enterprise intelligence
At Apistemology, applying a career of technology–business integration to business kernels — ComeBk, a marketing and sales kernel that helps businesses find and win customers; Catoids; and FinCheckers® — purpose-built products that adapt to how a business works rather than forcing the reverse.
Hands-on product architecture
At Lentra, owned microsystems end to end — data models, API design, Dedupe, Collateral, and APF — and contributed as microsystem owner on low-code journey architecture that reached ₹100 crore in disbursements within three months. Leadership here means staying in the technical work, not delegating it away.
Product leadership at institutional scale
At Nucleus, built and mentored a product team shipping across India, the Middle East, Australia, and Southeast Asia — products live at ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, Bandhan Bank, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Poonawalla Fincorp, and nationalised banks. Strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market — with accountability for what lands in production.
Technology–business integration in BFSI
Where domain depth was built — six years inside a regulated bank bridging operations and systems. Credit, collections, and a 200+ branch loan origination rollout taught what happens when business judgment and technology must work as one — audits, exceptions, and decisions that software must support, not replace.

Current Direction
The next chapter applies fourteen years of technology–business integration in BFSI to a different shape of company — smaller team, longer bets, software built in public.
Apistemology is where product leadership and hands-on architecture meet again. The same production standard that held at Nucleus and Lentra now applies to business kernels — ComeBk as a marketing and sales kernel built to bring customers to businesses, FinCheckers®, and the rest of the portfolio. Depth over breadth. Delivery over demos.
