Who should reach out, what conversations I welcome, and how to get a thoughtful reply.
The best conversations start with something specific. I build enterprise intelligence by integrating business judgment and software architecture — BFSI is where I forged that discipline, and I'm applying it across other complex domains where technology and business must work as one system.
Come with a clear ask. I reply when there's real mutual value.

How to reach me
Email is best: anuj.kumar@apistemology.com
I'm also on:
For structured requests — speaking, press, partnerships — the subpages above help you send a complete note.
What to expect
I read every message. I don't reply to all of them.
- Response time: within 7 days when a conversation looks like a fit
- Replies: when there's a clear ask and a path to mutual value
- No reply after a week: usually timing or fit — not that your note was ignored
Include in your first message:
- Who you are
- Why you're reaching out
- What you're asking for — one concrete ask
- Why it might be a fit for the work I do
- Any useful context — timeline, format, links
Specific notes get thoughtful replies.
Please don't:
- Send vague "let's connect" or "quick coffee" messages
- Follow up multiple times within a week — one patient follow-up after 7 days is enough
- Send cold sales pitches or homework requests
Boundaries
I don't respond to:
- Pay-to-play media — publications or PR services that charge for coverage or placement
- Investment scams — guaranteed returns, opaque schemes, pressure tactics
- Homework or assignment help — students are welcome for mentorship, not coursework
Unlikely to get a reply:
- Cold vendor pitches with no clear fit
- Job referral requests without real context
- Open-ended free consulting with no reciprocity
- Generic networking with no specific ask
- Unrelated recruiter outreach
